ZWO have announced their new EAF and EAF Pro is ready for pre-order and projected to ship in 2025. These new EAF versions come with some special upgrades.

The new Electronic Automatic Focuser models from ZWO now use USB Type-C connection and micron level precision level focusing. According to ZWO, their EAF "integrates a high-precision custom stepper motor with compact yet powerful performance. Featuring a 1:128 reduction ratio, it provides the motor with strong torque and precise control capabilities, achieving micron-level positioning accuracy. Each rotation responds precisely to commands, ensuring accurate and reliable focusing."

The Pro version has additional features including built-in Focus adjustment buttons, Bluetooth connectivity and a rechargeable built-in battery power supply.

ZWO are taking pre-orders as of now.
